Family Resource Center

Providing health education, wellness programs and support groups.

Southern Ocean County Hospital is committed to improving the quality of life in our community by providing comprehensive wellness and health services. The Family Resource Center, located on the 4th floor of the Ocean Club on Route 9 in Stafford Township, serves as the hub of our community outreach and wellness programs. Services include:

• Parenting and Childbirth Education Programs
• The Diabetes Self-Management Program
• Health Fairs and Screenings
• CPR and First Aid Programs
• Lectures On a Variety of Healthcare Topics
• Programs for Adults 50 and Over
• Fitness Classes
• A Comprehensive Lending Library Offering Books and Videos on Health Topics
• Computer Training Center
• Support Groups

While the Ocean Club and the SOCH Center for Health in Little Egg Harbor serve as the primary sites for SOCH wellness programs, the Family Resource Center also sponsors a number of health events at senior communities, schools, businesses and civic and religious organizations throughout the community.
